A scientific session organized by Kimia Ara heram Company on common women’s health issues, including bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis infections, iron deficiency anemia, and the prevalence of these diseases in Iran and globally, was held on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Sarem Hospital in Tehran.
In this session, Dr. Rahimi, the medical advisor of the organization, presented a treatment protocol for common infections in women according to the latest STD guidelines. She introduced a new and potent treatment for these infections using the molecule Tinidazole. She also discussed the superior efficacy and safety of Tinidazole compared to the commonly used treatment, Metronidazole, based on the latest clinical studies.
Continuing the session, the distinctions and advantages of Kimia Ara heram’s Tinidazole product, branded as *Tinafas*, were discussed compared to other brands, specifically regarding FDA-approved packaging standards. Additionally, bioequivalence studies of Kimia Ara heram’s *Tinafas* Tinidazole molecule were reviewed in comparison with *Trimonase*, the original product by farmitalia. The results indicate that *Tinafas* meets FDA bioequivalence criteria and is therapeutically equivalent to farmitalia’s original Tinidazole brand.
In this session, *Hemofix*, an iron supplement produced by Kimia Ara heram, was introduced. *Hemofix* features; highly absorbable pure iron with minimal gastrointestinal side effects and high safety, making it suitable for use among sensitive groups, including pregnant women, growing children, school-aged children, and etc.
